Studio Tour

Pearl River Glass Studio

is an impressive 10,000 square foot facility, where we have the capacity to produce commissions of any size or scope.

We have completed over 3,000 projects for clients from across the country.

PRGS is a fascinating oasis in the middle of the city that refreshes the spirit and challenges the mind of whoever walks through its doors.  Welcome to a quick virtual tour around prgs.   Some of our most recent building acquisitions are still being renovated.  We’ll be adding more photos soon.  If you’re in the area, come by and see all our production facility in action.

A central hub for a thriving arts district neighborhood in the heart of Jackson, MS,  our studio is divided among 5 buildings and 17,000 sq. ft. on Millsaps and Wesley Avenues, where it has been located since 1976.

The first building consists of office spaces and a 700 square foot gallery where artwork and decorative glass pieces are displayed year round. The other two buildings house the production studios, which were recently renovated to create separate workstations for each aspect of stained glass window creation.

Pearl River owns 5 for fusing and slumping, two of which are also used for glass painting and artwork. The first production building contains glass racks that hold thousands of square feet of glass from all over the country and the world.

Andrew Cary Young has served as an officer, board member, and president of the Stained Glass Association of America (SGAA). Pearl River Glass Studio Inc. was a fully accredited studio member from 1998 until 2019.
