Lydia fortenberry
Fused Glass Associate, Glass Painting Apprentice
Lydia Fortenberry’s passion for glass art stems from her love of craftsmanship and creativity. With a Fine Arts degree from Mississippi State University, where she concentrated in drawing, she brings a strong foundation in visual storytelling to her work at Pearl River Glass.
As a fused glass artist, Lydia specializes in layering and fusing glass to create intricate, illustrative pieces for windows. She thrives in an environment of collaboration and innovation, constantly refining her techniques to push the boundaries of glass design. One of her most meaningful projects was the restoration of the Historic Clayborn Temple in Memphis, where she worked alongside the team on a large-scale fused glass installation.
Outside the studio, Lydia finds inspiration in nature, film, and sequential art. Her love for hiking, painting, and foraging influences her artistic approach, allowing her to infuse movement and depth into her glasswork.
