Lucie cooper
Production Associate, Glass Cutting Associate
Lucie Cooper has been immersed in glass artistry for years, learning techniques from her father, Rob Cooper, a longtime member of the Pearl River Glass team. After exploring other industries, she was drawn to the creative environment of the studio, where she could bring beautiful works to life.
A true jack-of-all-trades, Lucie moves between glass cutting, fusing, leading, soldering, and deconstructing. She finds joy in piecing together intricate windows and matching glass colors with precision. One of her most meaningful projects was the fused glass depiction of The Woman at the Well for the Chapel of the Cross in Rolling Fork—an artwork that miraculously survived a devastating tornado.
Outside of the studio, Lucie is a painter, quilter, and jewelry maker, balancing her time between glasswork and her personal art studio. She also performs under the name Sad Bath and recently released a song, Pearl, inspired by the Pearl River.
