We already shared the designs for this piece, now you get to see it completed.  This is a very unique piece whose idea began with the southern bottle tree and grew into an elaborate and beautiful sculpture.  Pearl River collaborated with Fletcher Cox on the wood work for this piece.  We are very proud of the end result.

New Garden Art Piece for Felder Rushing to be Featured in the NY Times!

Art for Felder Rushing

This is an outstanding new yard art piece done for Felder Rushing's garden.  Most of you know Felder as the eclectic host of NPR's Gestalt Gardener.  It was Pearl River's pleasure to create this piece as an addition to his wonderful garden space.  Shortly after the piece's completion, the NY Times came to interview Felder and take pictures.  We will be sure to let you know when the article comes out!

PRGS Completes Restoration and Lighting of a 100 Year Old Window

Trinity Episcopal Church in Natchez, MS

PRGS Has Completed the Restoration and Lighting of a 100 Year Old Window Attributed to John LaFarge for Trinity Episcopal Church in Natchez, MS. The restoration of this window took many months and much skillful laboring by our Restoration Specialist, Marsh Nabors, but in the end, the result was breathtaking. This stunning window, attributed to the amazing stained glass designer, John LaFarge, was barely visible prior to its restoration due to poor lighting and age and dirt build up.  There were even individual glass pieces that had completely disintegrated.  But after much TLC, the window has been returned to its original grandeur, for the enjoyment of generations to come.

A Whole New Line of Decorative Art Glass Pieces!

For the Cedars show this year, Pearl River developed a new line of decorative glass pieces including religious Glass Icons and Glass Standards which are similar to the Bud Vases we have done for many years, but are strictly sculpture pieces.  Come by the studio soon to see them and pick up a unique christmas gift.  (Pictures to follow soon.)

Andy’s Paintings to become a permanent addition to the MS Museum of Art’s Collection!

The MS Museum of Art recently accepted three of Andy's paintings as additions to their permanent collection of art work on display at the museum.  All three of the pieces uniquely depict the magnolias in full bloom in front of the state capitol.  Both Andy and Pearl River Glass Studio are extremely honored by this opportunity!  We hope you all get a chance to go by and see them soon!
