History

Pearl River Glass Studio began in 1975 as the dream of Andrew Young to establish a “professional studio providing state-of-the-art stained glass to clients across the country."
Under Young’s guidance Pearl River has enjoyed study growth and has established itself as one of the nation’s largest and most highly acclaimed stained glass studios.
In 1998, Pearl River Glass Studio, Inc. became an accredited member of the Stained Glass Association of America (SGAA). Founder Andrew Young recently finished his two year term as the association’s president.
Over the years Pearl River has been a leader in expanding the uses of stained glass beyond the religious presentation to include abstract as well as more realistic images for architectural installations. As a result our varied list of clients include not only churches, but architects, designers and builders.
Today, Pearl River Glass employs a staff of talented, experienced and dedicated craftspeople to execute the studio’s exclusively custom designs. These designs employ many of the following techniques:
* traditional leaded glass
* hand-painted kiln-fired glass
* fused and plated glass
* gold-leafed glass
* acid and abrasive-etched glass
* custom and modular beveled glass
* interior and exterior glass sculpture
